Maribeth Plankers is an outstanding speech-language pathologist, presenter and professor. She has been practicing speech-language pathology for the past 34 years, working directly in schools for 28 of those years. MariBeth has developed a collaborative model of delivering education-based speech-language pathology services in schools, working with whole classrooms of students to provide dynamic communication interventions and effective classroom strategies that teachers use daily, with any student.

She is the author of SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS: Strengthen Students’ Receptive and Expressive Communication Skills to Increase Student Learning and Engagement in School (Preschool-Grade 12), the extensive resource handbook you will receive to help you train when you return to your school(s) and district.

In this high energy, hands-on, two-day institute, you will move, laugh and experience some of the challenges of students with deficits in their communication skills, and discover a wealth of practical strategies to address these challenges and train others. Wear comfortable clothing, as you will be actively moving throughout both days!
