Kathy Bryte is an outstanding occupational therapist, presenter and author. She has been a practicing OT for over 35 years, working in schools almost 25 of those years. Kathy has developed a collaborative model of delivering education-based occupational therapy services in her schools, working with whole classrooms of students to provide dynamic visual interventions and effective classroom strategies that teachers can use daily, with any student.

She is the author of Classroom Intervention for the School-Based Therapist, An Integrated Model, available through Pro-Ed, Inc. and Strengthen Students’ Functional Vision and Visual Perceptual Skills to Increase Student Learning (Preschool-Grade 12), the extensive resource handbook you will receive to help you train when you return to your school(s) and district. In this high-energy, hands-on, two-day institute, you will move, laugh and experience some of the challenges of students with poor functional vision, and discover a wealth of practical strategies to address these challenges and train others.

Wear comfortable clothing as “Therapeutic Movement Interventions” will be occurring across the two days. Come enjoy two days with Kathy and your colleagues to address the needs of the total child in the classroom.
